The 52nd Annual American Music Awards returns May 25 with Queen Latifah serving as this year’s host. The music icon co-hosted the event in 1995, and performed in 2008.

While Taylor Swift, who had the most nominations with eight, is not attending, several nominees and presenters sizzled in an array of bold looks.

Host Queen Latifah seemed unfazed by the temperature in Las Vegas (94) degrees when she stepped onto the carpet in a feathery coat. The same went for EJAE, who made an entrance in a high-neck gown.

Meanwhile, other attendees seemed to dress for the weather, among them Sombr, whose buttonless shirt revealed his chest, and Paula Abdul, who picked a semi-sheer dress for the occasion.

The 52nd American Music Awards, hosted by Queen Latifah, are airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS and and streaming on Paramount+.
